[GPS] PureMaps with OsmScoutServer, Localization precision and Maps - freelectro - 03-14-2023
Hi all,
I have installed Puremaps and OsmScoutServer from basic mobian repositories (not flathub).
1 - Puremaps connexion problem to OsmScoutServer
To use Puremaps in offline mode, i launch OsmScoutServer with desktop icon.
The OsmScoutServer GUI launched.
All Event semms to be good (no error).
Just this log can be a problem.
Code:
"Warning : Valhalla : /data/valhalla/elevation/ currently has no elevation tiles"After, i launch PureMaps with desktop icon.
Sometimes i have an error as OsmScoutServer is not launched.
What can be fix this problem ? (reproduced ramdom time)
2 - How be more precisly with localization ?
A user say to me use Sattelite software from flatpak to have a good localization precision.
3 - What maps use : Offline / Online / Online & Offline ?
What maps is good for battery and privacy ?

Puremaps and osmscout is not packaged by Mobian or Debian yet, so not sure where you got those, but no official repositories...

And after, you can develop a little bit more ?
