  LCD Panel Viewing Angle?
Posted by: KPhillisJr - 01-21-2016, 06:25 PM - Forum: LCD and Touch Panel - Replies (1)

I looked over the specifications for the LCD Panel and it does not accurately state the viewing angle.

Example good viewing angle: 178° (H) / 178° (V) - This is normally seen on IPS Screens.
Example poor viewing angle: 140° (H) / 120° (V) - This is highly common on TFT/TN based Panels.

  Raspberry Pi-Top
Posted by: Mark Smith - 01-21-2016, 06:09 PM - Forum: POT modules - Replies (3)

Hi, I already have an enclosure that fits a computer board like the pine A64 pretty well. It's called a pi-top and it houses a raspberry pi 2B. It comes with a trackpad, keyboard, display and long lasting lithium ion battery (2-3 days of use) with power management unit. Since the Pi 2B and Pine A64 are so similar, could the Pine be used to upgrade the pi-top? Would make a cool upgrade if possible.

Looking for any great suggestions or ideas.
Thanks

Mark

  Raspberry or Pine?
Posted by: Danton - 01-21-2016, 02:43 AM - Forum: General Discussion on PINE A64(+) - Replies (4)

I'm in a doubt... Will I get a Pine A64 or a Raspberry pi 2 model B.

But first I have a few questions.

  1. Do you guys think that this community will become big enough to accomplish something similar?
  2. Will there be software / hardware compatibility with the Raspberry?
  3. How is the communication with Allwinner going?
  4. Are you working on (with) other Linux distros?
  5. Will there be 4k compatibility for these distros?
  6. Is there going to be a 'manual' on how to use this board?
Thank you

Music Audio codecs

Hi

Will the Pine64 support DTS and/or DTS-HD? That would be really nice to now, considering I want to use it as part of my home-theatre setup.

Question Android + Camera Peripheral
Posted by: T_ech - 01-20-2016, 05:31 PM - Forum: Android on Pine A64(+) - Replies (4)

Can I use the camera peripheral with android? If so would android automatically detect the camera peripheral if it is connected to the P64 (idk how it would) or would I have to code it in to detect that it is there?

Add additional modules before you ship the PINE A64
Posted by: cowell33 - 01-20-2016, 01:15 PM - Forum: General Discussion on PINE A64(+) - Replies (23)

Hi

I had pledged the campaign ($29). Is it possible to add modules (wifi/bluetooth, enclosure..., etc) before you ship. So we can save shipping fee?

Thanks.

  USB WIFI Dongle Support

Is there going to be support for external USB wifi dongles and if so would you be able to supply a list of compatible ones?
