Last night I wrote the Android 5.1 DD image from the Pine 64 site to an 8GB PNY SD card using Win32 Disk Imager. I was then able to boot up Android on my Pine64 board without any issues. However, when I put the card back into my computer, I can no longer read anything on it. I get an error saying the inserted disk is not readable, both on my Windows and Mac machines. 

How am I supposed to troubleshoot or make changes if I can't access the files on the disk? What should I do here?

My Pine64 arrived in May. It was DOA and I emailed support on 16 June, 27 July, 10 August and 16 August. No reply to any of my emails (and we're now in September). I was about to bin the thing when the ABS enclosure and z-wave module arrived. Plugged it all together and the z-wave module doesn't even fit in the case. I've now binned the lot. Worst Kickstarter I've ever backed.

Hey guys.

After hours of reformatting the card with different versions and trying different things I finally got my LCD screen to display Andriod. All it took was for me to remove the WIFI module and start it up and poof the LCD started right up. But this things a paper weight if I can't get it on a network so I turned it off and put the WIFI module back on making sure that 13,14,15, 16 all lines up correctly, I even saw on another post a how to on installing the wifi module so I know that it's on there correctly. The LCD screen wont come on while the WIFI module is attached, the red light on the pine will blink but nothing on the LCD, as soon as I turn the pine off and remove the module, boom works perfect again. I am using the power supply that came with the pine in the kickstarter 5v 2a. Anyone have any suggestions or help, or is this just a bad wifi module? 

PS, I accidently had the WIFI module flipped around and the numbers not aligned and the LCD turned on, i got really excited but Andriod didnt recognize the module, i'm guessing because it was like it wasn't even installed.

Sorry if this question has been answered already, I searched but couldn't find a thread of faq.

I have got everything running on the LCD 7 inch screen, pine64 working perfectly. Three things:

- settings or apps are not saved: each time I need to set my Play store account, wifi etc etc. Is there a fix for this?
- my screen is not filling the LCD screen entirely. What causes this?
- I have no sound, or is that normal with the LCD version?

Did anybody bringing both network interfaces, one in access point mode ? How does it work for you ?  
I am concerned that both interfaces have same MAC address 34:c3:d2:7a:ba:77, and adding hwaddress in /etc/network/interfaces
does not change that. so my wlan0 connects to my home wifi router, that part works, but if i do that the access point on wlan0 does not work, clients can't connect to it

Ok, Newb user, can anyone guide me on how to properly mount/connect the touch screen in the White ABS "Playbox" case? I admit my noobness, but the ribbon cables don't appear to be lining up, there are spares, but the cables on the touchpanel do not appear removable.... IS there any sort of visual guide on what I SHOULD be doing? Still missing my battery (rolls eyes) but trying to get everything together so I can at least get it up and running. Can anyone point me in the direction of some guidance on the proper way to assemble the ABS case and get the touch panel connected to the board correctly?? some of it I get, some is obvious, but I'm not sure I'm lining it all up correctly. I feel like I'm missing something..Help!?

I am new to this so tell me if I have posted this in the wrong place. I recently purchased a pine A64 (2gb version) and a Waveshare 7inch 1024x600 capcitive touch screen to be used in a tablet. I have tested the screen with multiple systems (ubuntu, mac OS X, windows 10 etc...)and it works straight away. But when I plug the screen into the pine, it is not detected at all. It doesn't even initiate a X11 session. The pine is running the newest version of Debian linux jessie. Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

Does anybody tried to create cluster of Pine64s on Mesos? Is it possible?
