Using Bluetooth for Sending serial data

I'm using Ubuntu long sleep OS on pine64+, I'm trying to send serial data from the pine 64+ to the Arduino UNO over bluetooth.
For that i installed Bluez package and when i check for the bluetooth device using "Hcitool dev", its empty.
But i checked the status of bluetooth using "etc/init.d/bluetooth status", the result is,
Quote:● bluetooth.service - Bluetooth service
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/bluetooth.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: active (running) since Sun 2016-09-11 05:43:23 UTC; 3h 18min ago
Docs: man:bluetoothd(8)
Main PID: 7439 (bluetoothd)
Status: "Running"
CGroup: /system.slice/bluetooth.service
└─7439 /usr/lib/bluetooth/bluetoothd
When i add a USB bluetooth adapter to pine 64+, it gets detected and works fine.
I tried this using the procedure given in the following link:

Replication SD card -> pine64 put on other cards boot -> boot Prevention
Program Running -> Import to come to the board a unique number comparison -> incorrect shutdown -> correct execution
A unique code that is needed to make the pine64. How to import or shine?
When the label is printed on the bottom of the board there are two numbers pine64
Each board is wrong. Can a function to obtain this number from Linux ubuntu.?
Or how you can get is ?

How to make multicast working on ubuntu and debian

Hi, I run VLC on Linux OS (Ubuntu and Debian) but it seems VLC cannot receive multicast stream. I can see that IGMP_JOIN is not sent out when trying to receive from multicast IP address (IPv4). I also tried a test program as calling setsockopt IP_ADD_MEMBERSHIP which should send out IGMP_JOIN, but it is not sent. After some investigation, I can see that CONFIG_IP_MULTICAST is listed as disabled in /proc/config.gz. Maybe this is the reason, but I am not sure. How to make it working? Did anyone send IGMP_JOIN successfully? Thanks a lot.

I really don't want to go posting this topic but I say 3 months of waiting is enough.
TL Lim, where's my accessories?
You gave me this response:
"Already shippe don July 4 and here is the tracking number: RI902865565CN"

Which is useless.
So where's my Air mouse + some of my accessories now???

Hue binding issue with OH2

I imagined the SD card with pine64_openhab_20150521_8GB. Openhab starts up fine, but obviously there are no interfaces. Using the classic interface model, I set up things, items, and sitemap as outline in the hue binding instructions (http://docs.openhab.org/addons/bindings/hue/readme.html). Hue starts and goes online, but I get the following error: "Could not update element with key hue:bridge:1 in ManagedThingProvider, because it does not exist." What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Question regarding Playbox case

Hi! I received my Playbox case and was able to connect everything together with the help of Bob Carlson's video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTCIiChX...e=youtu.be . One thing Bob pointed out in his comments was the inability/difficulty to swap the microSD card if the case is snapped closed. I was thinking about acquiring a microSD extension cable to plug into the microSD port on the board that could feed out the case opening where the USB ports are accessible so that I could easily swap out the card without having to re-open the case. I am not sure if this would work or not. Could someone please let me know their opinion on this? Thanks!

Today I received the Pine 64 enclosure, a white plastic box.
However, it was closed up. The lid is held by six hooks to the case
on the inside and you cannot lift the lid from the case,
so it is not posiible to put the Pine 64 board inside.
can somebody help?

Ubuntu Mate 16.04
3.10.101-4-pine64-longsleep
Things may not be perfect for your use case. Even in Ubuntu we want more. But hey, things are happening. Updates are coming thru. It takes time. Unfortunately 4k resolution and gaming performance are still a way off. In time all things are possible. It may not suit everyone but Pine64 is very cool.
