I tried 1080p in local streaming (Netgear Readyshare) with the sample you can find here: http://www.divx.com/en/devices/profiles/video

I tried "Micayala Gatto" in particular.

I also tried 2 of these DivX samples in 1080p with Android native player and play very smooth.
I haven't tried them with Kodi though.
