With the newer versions of u-boot that are starting to appear (tow-boot in particular) it is now possible to install Debian into a Pinebook Pro using the real Debian installer ISOs. I always intended to discontinue my installer once the firmware and mainline kernel had matured enough to allow real installers to work... in fact I was surprised it was needed for such a long time.
Hi Daniel,
I installed Debian on my PBP using your installer around the time of it's introduction. I have been very happy with the installation ever since, but I now see that your update repository is no longer available. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can perform kernel updates going forward without breaking my installation or having to re-install Debian ?
Rest regards,
Nigel.
