Pinebook Pro kit without the rockpro

So if I buy rockpro, and then decide to stick it inside pinebook pro, I won't be able to buy battery even if I lied about why, as it only ships to USA, and you can only buy individual parts as replacement. Also there're people that complain that you can't customize emmc storage, and that would hypothetically be one of the ways to do it, buying the chip and emmc separately.

Not quite sure what you're truing to achieve here... the rockpro64 won't fit inside the pinebook pro... you'd have to remove all the headers, network connector, USB connectors, HDMI, PCIe socket, etc, etc... and then how do you wire up to the display, keyboard, touchpad, etc?

The soc inside pbp, isn't rockpro, and is a custom chip? I suppose it makes little sense to use rockpro inside a laptop, or to sell the laptop soc individually.

I was looking for desktop replacement I could recycle into a laptop.

The SoC in the PBP "is" the same as the RockPro, however, it's been altered significantly to fit within the PBP chassis. The specs are the same, but the form factor of the board is very different. Hope that clears things up a little.
