I'm in the batch of the first 100. Once my unit arrives, what's the best way to submit feedback? I may do a to YouTube video or write up or something.

Even though this was a reply to me, I assume you intended this directed to Luke.

I believe from my observations, if it is a working problem, some of the Discord chats may be a place to look for support, but beyond that, Looks like I would be posting my bug reports here.

Lets not derail this thread too much (its on shipping/ coupons) - but I do want to respond: you can offer feedback here, in the chats or - probably best - in @ayufan and @Mrfixit2001 gits. If you'll use a partner-project OS, for instance Manjaro, the please provide feedback on their forum / to them directly, since many devs do not check the PINE64 forum but rather use their own project forum.

It's not because we don't like you or that you were too late -- No one has gotten one yet! However, as of right now, everyone who has registered into the system will get one! As of about midnight UTC on the 26th, the first batch of coupons did go out!

The sales team is in UTC+8 -- When preorders opened, it was 8pm their time, and as of my typing this (10 hours later), it is 5am! When they get back to work, that is when you might be able to start expecting coupons.

As for the distribution of coupons, I'll lay it out for you:

First early batch is 100 units. About 10 of those are going to developers. That means about 90 will be available for pre-orders. Coupons will be sent to the first 90 users to registered into the system, starting tonight (in Europe and US time zones) and over the next 72 hours or so. Those units will ship in about 4 weeks from now.

The second batch is much larger -- 1000 units, all dedicated to preorders. These coupons will start being sent out in a couple weeks and stretch out to about 6-7 weeks from now. Units ship about 8-10 weeks from now.

I hope this clears things up.

Are the second 1000 coupons already spoken for? Is there anyway I can get a pinkbook pro pre-order still?

There is still room in the second batch. Smile

Ah ok. This is great news! How do I sign up?

Sorry, I hadn't noticed your registration date. These 128GB models are only being made available to users registered before July 1st. General preorders start in a few months.

If the second batch does not fill up will you be adjusting the forum join date requirement?

Preorders are going public on the 25th. Granted, the units shipped for those orders will be the 64GB version instead.

Is it possible to make a pre-order without a coupon code? Just regular public purchase, or is this available after Aug.25? The checkout requires a coupon... Thanks.

First batch coupons (early 100 units) went out long ago. If you missed it, you'll need to message [email protected] about getting a new coupon. The actual Pinebook Pros should also start shipping very soon.

Second batch coupons (1000 units) are going out now! Over the next few days, check your email inboxes.

In either case, keep in mind that your coupon is only good for 48 hours after receiving it. This is why first batch users need to get a replacement one. Wink
