Bluetooth CSR8510 not working with Rock64 Android 7.1
#11
I use my rock64 as a 4k media center AND as a retro console. for the latter i need a playstation 4 pad connected via bluetooth at best. I have the rock64 now for about a year and unfortunately I still have to connect my controller via a cable with the rock64 to play. Accordingly, I can not use the device for this purpose virtually. Unfortunately. because the rock is a super console with retro arch. in any case, if you could connect his pad with bluetooth.

if anyone finds a bluetooth solution for an android version i would be very happy.

I have the Rock64 with the last version of Android installed on it. All is good excepted that my CSR8510 BT dongle is not working. I tried everything i can see on my rasperry pie with no issue but not on Rock64.
Anybody has any BT working on this platform on Android ?

Thanks

Seb

I bought the bluetooth air mouse/keyboard unit sold by Pine. It works on my board with Android 7.1, except that I cannot turn the Rock64 on from the remote. After I turn on the unit manually, everything works well, including shutdown. I expected the faulty Bluetooth issue to be solved with Oreo, but looks like it got worse!

Is that one bluetooth tho? i had 3 different air mouse remote controls (not this one) on my hands and none of them where bluetooth, they use a proprietary transparent protocol to communicate with the usb adapter, basically from the point of view of the sbc you are pluggin a normal cabled keyboard and mouse...some backup information:

Apparently most of them work on the 2,4ghz frequency so interference can occur but they are not bluetooth afaik...

What can i do to somehow solve this bluetooth problem ? I have time to tweak with this and i have a willing to do that. But probably very low knowledge about how to support bluetooth device.
It is seen actually by the ATV 7.1 image (this is from dmesg output):

but no support with android settings at all. If someone could direct me, we could probably make it working. Or i'm too optimistic???
