PineTab2 power options

I have one other question for the group. I'm finding it difficult to turn the screen off without powering it down. I have changed the settings to use the power button to turn the screen off in while on battery and wired but it appears to do nothing.

Is anyone else having this issue or is it a known issue? I've tried everything but nothing is working. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

When I close mine on the desk and leave it closed for a few seconds, the screen turns off & I haven't changed anything regarding power.

Yes, "suspend" isn't working yet, so the best we can do is turn off the screen or shut down the device.

System Settings -> Power Management -> On Battery lets you adjust the time to screen dimming and off. I have found the default settings pretty suitable.

Side notes:

1. Locking the screen (Pine - L) seems to hamper the dimming, though it still turns the screen off after a while.

2. When the device has been shut down, it boots back up when plugged in to power. So I've been trying to plug it in *before* shutting it down.
