I have tried it using those instructions and wasn't successful. That's what prompted the question.
I first followed those steps (open a terminal window) and after following this instruction: sudo aptitude install boinc-client boinc-manager I got the following error: sudo: aptitude: command not found I then was able to install Boinc client and manager after installing the Synaptic Package manager. Maybe I was not doing something correctly?

I managed to install boinc manager by simply using sudo apt-get install boinc.
After it benchmarked, sadly it says there is no work, I assume that for the project I was trying (SETI), that arm64 is not supported. Not sure if any others are? |
