Thank you, Steve!
... I assume the silvered connections are down (other side from the blue stripe) and that there are only connections on one side? Did you have to lift up on the connector latch, or were you able to just slide the connection in (zero force insertion?). Thanks again. marcus

marcus,
You are correct in that the sliver side, or contacts, face downward. With the connectors themselves, you need to lift up the black tabs, slide the cable in flush to the connector as far as it will go, and then close the black tab. You cannot slide the cables in without opening the tabs.

If it's the Pine screen, did it come with the extender or did you have to find that somewhere else? Also it's hard to tell in the picture whether it's mounted inside a homemade cardboard or wood case, or just sitting on top of one. Either way it looks cool. I ordered a couple of the ABS cases but I keep seeing other random containers and thinking they would make decent cases for a pine64 or rpi.

You're right, they are just setting on top of each other (separated with a napkin)! I ordered the case, but it has not been shipped yet. Also, the extender cable and cable adapter came with the board! They also included a push button switch that I can solder into the Power or Reset location!

When I get mine, I'll make one, I promise; some folks need a photo journal of each step...
