No boot at all after long time on wall charger
#1
I left phone on wall charger connection for maybe 24 hours.  Now it will not boot or even turn the lights on to try to boot.  I am running phosh-manjaro from sd card.  System has been updated several times using pacman.

I removed battery several times.  I removed sd card and reinstalled sd.  I pushed RE button and then tried boot with no indication of anything happening.

Only life is small blue light near top of screen that can only be seen after aligning phone to view it.

Any tricks???   My earlier pinephone was more reliable than the PPP, I hate to say.

thanks,          tom kosvic

I have noticed that if i boot my PPP while it is on charger system will not notice it and will not charge. This may lead to completely discharged battery. Try to charge the battery or use one of the workarounds described on the forum.

I just had success using an external battery charger when I had this happen. Something like this:

To get it back working, I did the steps of:

1.   Remove cover, battery, and SD card

2.  Put battery back in (no SD)

3.  Depress RE and while RE is being depressed insert cord from charger (wall charger) into phone, hold RE for a few seconds longer.  Then release RE

4.  Leave on charger (wall charger) for 4 hours or so

5  Insert SD. Put back cover on phone. Push start button and it booted while off charger.

Got it back working

Yeah, I happened to have the battery charger already so I figured it was better than waiting the 4 hours Smile

Glad to hear you got it working.
