Looking for SW Simulation of PinePhone.

While working on Blackberry Z30  a SW Simulation was available.

Just wondering if such a thing exist for the PinePhone.  Haven't  seen anything resembling it.

I'm curious what the advantage would be. Why not just use a PinePhone?

Mostly for future HW upgrades.

The Sim can be updated to match any upgrades to the Phone (or any) hardware. Much more cost effective to send out sim upgrades than have to send actual HW whenever a HW upgrade is made.

Also, the developers are always able to use the latest version, or not.
