I tested the battery compatible with the reference EB-BJ700BBC. It works perfectly.
you just have to plane the two small legs; this done, it fits perfectly in the phone; the back cover closes properly.

I can confirm this; I hacked off the legs and filed them down with a Swiss Army knife.

The battery is marginally taller than the included battery (by about 0.5mm?), though it can still be inserted and ejected with some effort. It sits flush and the back cover can be closed. The phone powers on and can be used without issue.

As an aside, if it were possible to 'laser off' the plastic which recesses the gold contacts, I imagine the replacement battery would fit in as smoothly as the included battery.

No need for a laser, the plastic top is only a few mm, and can easily be taken off by pulling the label a bit down, so you can
get a knife under its lower edge to twist it up.

No guaranties for what happens though :-)
