I would like to know the difference between the two.
Most interesting for me - 720p support in this buld. Anyone tested?
I used the one from jide, works great.
Phoenix card wouldn't even let me use the image from the pine64 wiki.

The 720p already works in Android build but need to resolve the issue of the start up logo need to set to 720p instead of 1080p. Once this issue resolved, we will pass the Android code to Remix team and create new build.

Tried the latest android build on my pine today and it didnt seem to want to cooperate with going to 720p are there any tricks to force it etc?

Just go to setting->video section and change the HDMI output to 720p. However, the boot up time still n 1080p but will switch to 720p when enter Android home screen. On next week, the new build will switch the boot up screen to 720p as default.

Yup! Android build from 20160505 works great with my 720p TV, but there are some problems in this build (Play Market crashes, audio distortions).
Android build 20160505 starts with 1080p (I've changed resolution via 1080p TV) and changes resolution after boot.
I seem RemixOS is more comfortable, and I expected it will support 720p soon.
Sorry for offtopic.

Will this be OTA update or will you have to flash to a micro SD?
