PinePhone Hardware Critique
#1
Number one dislike for me on the hardware is the speaker is too close to the mic, good speaker, but on speaker phone I have to keep the volume pretty low so the caller doesn't hear themselves echo, if the next version chosen could employ a different design, speaker located at the top for instance, that would be great  Cool

I have that same concern. On my first call out using the phone, the recipient was annoyed by the echo which could only be mitigated by keeping the volume at a very low level.

Yeah, the speaker is pretty much unusable, it keeps cutting out due to proximity to the microphone. Guess I could try lowering the volume a bit but that kind of defeats the purpose of using the speaker in the first place.
