Phonebook does not link with calls

Hi all,

Well, that's basically it. When I select a contact from the phonebook and click to call, it doesn't call, I think because the phonebook is not related to the calling application.
Someone else happens? How is it solved?

Make sure you include the country code with the stored phone number. That would be "+1" for the U.S. When bringing up a phonebook entry I'm finding a need to hit the phone button two or three times for it to work. (Remember this is alpha software!)

It is connected. There are a few issues though:

• - Some applications (linphone-desktop, kde-connect) hijack the tel:// (or phone://) URIs as preferred applications, so they get invoked instead of the calls app.
  
• - if you have not set the right region in your settings app, it might try to prefix the wrong international number
  
• - there have been a few issues where the addressbook or calls try to "normalize" numbers, so a few combinations (depending on how you store your phone numbers) , might hit those cases.
  

That having said, I am not deeply involved with those apps, and have my knowledge glancing at the issue trackers.

I have finally uninstalled "kdeconnect" and it seems to be working fine.
