PineTab Mobian

Perfect, Thank You! I will be patient and wait. The PineTab with Mobian works, at least for my needs, as a daily driver nearly perfect. Thank You for your work!

Does anybody know the last stable nightly build for the Pinetab?  I'd like to drop back to something I can use on the tablet until A-Wai catches up with all his rework.

You might want to give Arch Linux ARM a try. I like Mobian also, but Arch Linux ARM has things working that still had issues in Mobian. My biggest issue with Arch was the onscreen keyboard size, but that has been fixed. BT and sound work too.

I looked at that, but it seemed pretty backward from what Mobian had reached.  Startup/welcome screens didn't fit on the display, nonsense like that.

Note I tried 1101 and the keyboard was borked on that nightly.  Guess I'll go back a few days and burn, burn again.

Many thanks for your work, this image is a great improvement!

A quick first test showed the following problems:

a) mpv 0.32.0 does no longer work. Image stuttering due to cpu load close to 100%.
   (Edit: Suddenly without any changes it is again ok?)
b) Sound in Headset much too low, needs alsamixer to be set to 90%.
c) It might be useful to catch some errors in dmesg?
d) geary finally works, but letters are muuch to little, need a microscope

Does someone know a way to put some desktop icons into a "container" or hide them or something.....? I don't like overloaded desktops.

Every app icon shown on the desktop does have a ".desktop" file in
/usr/share/applications

You can delete the file or rename the suffix from ".desktop" to something else and it will no longer be visible.

@LinAdmin2 Thank You! Well, what I mean is something like a "menu" button what hides the icons except the favorites. When I remember correctly there is one in UBports!?

I tried an upgrade first, before reflash, now I'm hoping the camera didn't break in the process. After reboot the screen turned black and I could hear the camera constantly making noises. Then I did a reflash with the most recent image and now it's fine.

Someone please! The "settings" app tells me "no bluetooth found" and I just want to know if it's an HW or SW issue...
