You can just download the latest mrfixit image and dd it to the emmc while booted from sdcard, that will work.

I flashed the latest mrfixit built and used dd to write to the eMMC, but not my PBP will not boot. I suspect I screwed something up along the way and overwrote the bootloader. How can I rebuild from scratch back to a usable machine?
