Pinebook battery connector and reuse

Hello all,

Has anyone reused their pinebook battery for other than powering a pinebook?  Mine is in pieces right now, so I'm looking to reuse the parts I can.  

Is the connector that the pinebook battery uses easy to acquire on Amazon or other sites online?  Would I have to de-solder the connector from the main board?  I tried to plugin a male end of GPIO jumper cable into one female outputs, but the pin is too thick.

The battery meters at around 4 ish volts, so I will need to boost it to 5 volts to run a raspberry pi.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

No suggestions? This is a perfectly good battery, I have a boost transformer to 5 volts already, but I want to be able to charge the battery too. There are 7 wires on this battery, 3 x 4 ish volt lines (red), 1 white (unknown purpose) and 3 ground (black). I looked at the PDF for the battery on the Wiki, but I didn't give me the information I was looking for.

My end goal is to power a raspberry pi 3b+ and an 3.5 display. It is going to be a small retro gaming system with arcade buttons wired into the GPIO pins (I have a pi cape to added extra ground pins and 5 volt and 3.3 volt pins). I'm looking for a UBEC that would work with this battery.

Try tagging one of the Pine team members, they should be able to help answer your connector question. I'm sure it's not too hard to find, as they seem to have an ease of sourcing in mind for most of their parts. If it is, you could probably find one of the RPi HATs that handles batter power/charging with it.
