Oh i was trying the alpha one and was wondering why the video was so choppy (nothing crazy, some 1080p test video), so its not only me...also there is no librelec repository yet right? apparently network connects, gets ip etc but when i try to install stuff from "librelec repository" i get a connection error allmost instantly, you got the same?

Those are no alphas yet. Also they did not populate the addon repository yet. I've left the LibreELEC Team for reasons I don't need to discuss in public. We have a few developers and we are maintaining our own fork now but currently we do not support Rockchip. We are short staffed and I we focus on Amlogic right now. The main development is still done by @Kwiboo and @LongChair which both are Team LibreELEC. I'm not aware of any LibreELEC community builder doing builds for Rock64 at the moment with full Addon repo. I guess you will have to wait a little bit longer.
