New Ubuntu ML-Anderal 4-20-16 Issues

Anybody has major issues with New Ubuntu ML-Anderal 4-20-16.img image?

I just installed it and I'm having major issues.  It constantly loses connection even if it says it's connected. Firefox keeps crashing. kodi is unusable. Can't send bug reports etc... the list goes on and on.  I was just wondering if anybody got that release to work.

Is this the closest to Ubuntu 16.04?

There is the Ubuntu image on the Pine A64 wiki, have you seen that?

Xubuntu? That's the first one I downloaded. No success with that image either for what I want to do (Kodi and VlC) I'm downloading Remix OS but I need to be able to add a few things so Android and Remix OS work great with Kodi and VLC but obviously won't work with a USB capture card I want to use for my project.
