Pine Media Remote
#1
Has anyone figured out how to connect this thing to their pine? There were no instructions given. I assumed it was bluetooth connected but the BT doesn't pick it up. Is there something I've missed?

Hi. I do not have the media remote myself, but the Pine shop here describes it as an IR (infa-red) device with IR receiver, that takes 3 x AAA batteries. Thus, if you insert batteries and connect the receiver in the appropriate slot on the board, it should work.

See this diagram for where the receiver should be connected (on the right hand side, near the lower edge of the board).

Thanks on the explanation. The IR remote control takes 2 x AAA batteries.

I see now, thanks!

For anyone who's wondering, the IR Sensor was loose in the bag when I received it. It's an object with 3 pins that are ridiculously long. You can keep them that way, but I cut them down about half way to fit the sensor in the enclosure.
