Since I don't have a PinebookPro to fix it, I'm contacting someone from the team who has one. Just found out from another person who managed to get audio working on PInebookPro w/ Armbian-Reforged:
"To fix No audio issue with PinebookPro, we had it set in asound.state for our image. All good now"
I'll get details how to get his done step by step later on.

Good, thanks, but I am running it on RockPro64. Cannot try on Pinebook Pro, cause my SD card reader is broken.
Btw, is it not recommended to upgrade? I made a dist-upgrade and seems that Steam stopped working. Also, how do I start BOX86 and some games? I found some box86-update, but still unable to run box86.

Update (11-22-20)
To fix Redream - Dreamcast emulator audio sound issue:
sudo apt install libasound2-plugins:armhf
If someone needs to use Etcher on Armbian-Reforged, a PineBook Pro - Debian Stretch armhf version works just fine:
https://github.com/futurejones/balena-et.../releases/
balena-etcher-electron_1.5.63_Debian_Stretch_armhf.deb
-Next version will include a compiled arm64 Etcher version for it.

You can upgrade without problems. Until we are able to fully cover all RK3399 boards, support will just keep getting better. Currently working and heavily tested on RockPi4B and RockPi4C boards because that's what most of us have besides one NanoPiM4 and Orange Pi 4. RockPro64 will also get better supported soon as currently only one person from the team has the board. Same for PineBookPro. Help is on its way!
Steam App is an armhf version and still a WIP but getting worked on, an ARM64 Steam version is in the works with better support for BOX86. It'll be included in next Armbian-Reforged V1.1.
Box86 will run within the OpenGL games included with Armbian-Reforged. You can access them from the menu. We will have some videos to share with Box86 functionality.
We are trying to cover many things but will take some time to fix/upgrade/improve them as we go. Thanks for your patience.

Exciting times, thank you.
But ... I flashed to SDcard for a trial - booted fine to Mate desktop but won't recognise my (USB) keyboard/mouse so I cannot drive anything
(Didn't seem to initialise my NVMe - led on NVMe didn't come on - but that would be a secondary problem.)
- ROCKPro64 v2.1 2GB, 16Gb eMMC for rootfs, SX8200Pro 512GB NVMe for /home, HDMI video & sound, Bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Arch (6.2 kernel, Openbox desktop) for general purpose daily PC.
- PinePhone Pro Explorer Edition, daily driver, rk2aw & U-boot on SPI, Arch/SXMO & Arch/phosh on eMMC
- PinePhone BraveHeart now v1.2b 3/32Gb, Tow-boot with Arch/SXMO on eMMC

I don't have a PineBookPro or RockPro64 but image by default is set to RockPi4C. It sounds like you're using the wrong dtb file.
I did successfully test it booting from NVMe on RockPi4C only.
Please follow the instructions below:
- edit /boot/armbianEnv.txt
- replace the dtb name with rk3399-pinebook-pro.dtb or whatever RK3399 board you have, check dtb folder to know the exact name you need to type.
- Enjoy
Don't forget to resize partition after first boot
