What Pine Phone Operating System For A Daily Driver?

I have not updated for a few months now.... Have been looking into what has changed in that time.
Will have to look at why the change with mtp after imaging an SD card with the latest build.
Perhaps NFS would work better than samba/sftp if getting mtp working is struggle?
