PinePhone does not run Android (in principle, it can, but it's unstable yet). It runs very many different operating systems, all of which are GNU/Linux distributions: https://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/PinePh...ng_Systems. As a new user you should be able to learn how to use them quickly. Different people prefer different OS so it's hard to say what you will like.
