Pinephone inner frame fused to motherboard?
#1
Opened my phone to check connectors (re issue https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=10882).
Freed the inner frame around the edges only to discover that it is fused to the motherboard at an area next to the battery connectors.

Coincidently(?) this area is where the usb ribbon cable passes to the SOC. Presumably this could also relate to my usb issue? The frame sits normally flat so hasn't been distorted.

Is heating recommended to help removal? Otherwise removal might be destructive. Huh
