is there any way I can switch off the led light on the phone, the blue one

 I think it's being used to debug crust, I'm finding it quite useful, since if it stays on when I switch the screen on or comes on immediately after I switch it off (with no 60 second delay) I know crust's not working properly and I can reboot to restart it. saves a lot of battery.

Mine is on the whole time, I even switch of all notifications, no luck
I reckon it drains the battery faster

Me too. I've put a tiny black sticker on it (those you use on Android phones to protect your privacy)
I just couldn't stand the LED blinking all the time seemingly without reason...
