Is it on? when?

Same issue here. It's almost always on. Independent of when there is a notification or not. Latest 20 minutes after switching the screen of the blue LED starts slowly blinking. It's almost steady on.

I think that has to do with letting you know that crust/deep sleep is on. It would be good to have a bit about how mobian uses the different led colors on the wiki.

for example, no led when phone is off and charging, green when powering up/booting, solid blue when in deep sleep. I've also seen red and amber, but don't clearly remember the accompanying conditions.

Besides when booting, I never have the LEDs on...

I think it's being used to debug crust, I'm finding it quite useful, since if it stays on when I switch the screen on or comes on immediately after I switch it off (with no 60 second delay) I know crust's not working properly and I can reboot to restart it. saves a lot of battery.

Mine is on the whole time, I even switch of all notifications, no luck
I reckon it drains the battery faster

Me too. I've put a tiny black sticker on it (those you use on Android phones to protect your privacy) Wink
I just couldn't stand the LED blinking all the time seemingly without reason...
