If you decide you don't want it because of this issue 1. would you be willing to sell? and 2. if so are you located in the US? If not no big deal just figured I'd throw the idea out. It never hurts to ask 

I'm in the same boat as OP -- didn't realize the drivers needed for video out weren't already in the kernel, and now the hardware issue, and I'm primarily interested in convergence. As it is I've barely used it. It's a BH device and I'm in Utah. If you're interested I'd be happy to let it go at cost and I'll pick up the shipping since it's technically used.
