Had some issues with installing window managers although Gnome did install without any issues and the system runs with it.
I have afterwards tried installing both Cinnamon and Xfce with apt along side Gnome and I can log in fine to both Cinnamon and Xfce without issues, but as soon as I hit right click button on the touch pad, I get logged out (or may be it crashes?). Does anyone have any clue what is going on here?
You can try installing a newer Mesa. If you don't want to go through all the steps manually, this script should work:

what is 'pbp-build' ? It does not exist on a newly installed bullseye with Thompson installer.
EDIT:
So I tried following the script line by line (had to do multiple installs through apt) and I skipped the uninstall part. Now Cinnamon seems to run, it doesn't crash the way it did before. Very happy Many thanks!
