I just wanted to mention something in case anybody has the same issue I did. When I first flashed Ubuntu Touch to my SD card it booted up just fine but when it came time for me to try that password "phablet" it didn't work. I tried multiple times and made sure I was spelling it correctly. What I ended up doing was simply restarting the phone and then trying it at the lock screen and it worked and would then allow me to change it after. Using build 226 if that matters.
