Just tried it on one of my boards that i use as nas with OMV and check worked, selected all the packages, pressed upgrade, also worked (had about 10 outdated packages) and it rebooted normally and everything seems fine apparently...i suggest to try asking for help here: https://forum.openmediavault.org/index.p...0-General/
I just notice...im on OMV 4.1.9 arrakis, you are on 3 and AFAIK 3 is not updated anymore, maybe the update server is disabled allready too?

If you see the links on the "news" section on that page you see that if you go back you can find the arrakis launch, the EOL notice and the 3.0.99 release news in that order so you have the latest version on erasmus anyway...
I just notice that they have 2 news pages about the 3.x EOL, they wanted to be really sure users are informed about that lol:

Some other people asked how to upgrade from 3 to 4 apparently from command line is as simple as issuing a single command:
omv-release-upgrade

Personally i would install 4.x from scratch but if you have a complex setup maybe its going to be annoying...
