i know that the pinebook64 dosen't have a bootloader, bout is there a way to install or boot in to a live usb or micro sd card? any help is appreciated.
atm you cannot boot a usb stick directly. You may boot an SD card with a valid Arm image for the A64/Pinebook. For instance, I have xenial-mate on my eMMC ( internal ) and I utilize xenial-i3 from my SD cards. The SD card slot (if active) has boot priority.
You may boot 'from' eMMC or SD card and then 'run' the /rootfs from a usb stick, or SSD; HDD; what-have-you; however, the usb stick may not yet be used to boot-up, and of course live boot sticks for x86 will not work-- this is Arm for crying out loud.
