Back in May, I noticed my wife's Pinebook Pro eMMC life-time was also at 0x0b. Just the other day, it completely died.
Now I need to buy 1, better 2, eMMCs. Hardkernel's website makes ordering somewhat complicated. I found an Orange Pi 256GB eMMC on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Orange-Pi-Module-...RHRT1?th=1
My Pinebook Pro eMMC has one socket while the Orange Pi eMMC has two sockets. That's a strong indication that they are incompatible but two reviews claim they use it in a Pine64 RockPro64.
The RockPro64 board layout shows a single socket eMMC interface https://wiki.pine64.org/images/e/ec/ROCK...otated.jpg. If the Orange Pi eMMC works in a RockPro64 then it should also work in a Pinebook Pro (by utilizing just one of the two sockets). Right? Can anyone confirm this?
