Let us be realistic here.
There is working alt-dp support in Manjaro but only if you use the special Pinephone pro kernel which unfortunately has no NVME support
My experience so far over countless hours with my Pinebook Pro has been one of solid fail in that
1) My board revision is apparently new and does not match the pictures on the wiki which caused initial confusion when installing Armbian
2) Attempts to use the patched kernels for the pinebook pro fail. Type C DP port negotiation appears to work even with mainline 6.1 and 6.3 kernels and will try and initialise the display port but negotiation fails between the fusb230 and the Rockchip cpu. This does not happen with the pinephone pro kernel in Manjaro
This suggest there has been a hardware change to where the i2c port for the fusb230 is located as my kernel reports in Armbian that there is no i2c connection to the fusb230.
However everything else functions correctly.
