There are official Debian images from Debian themselves, I recommend you try those.

I have only tried: Armbian_5.75_Rockpro64_Debian_stretch_default_4.4.174_desktop
It takes a long time to do it's initial install because of all the timeouts, one presumes. When it finishes it powers off.
