Mine just showed up on my front doorstep as well. My unboxing experience matches @Nuurd : A box, inside another box, inside a padded envelope, inside another padded envelope. It was definitely wrapped for the long haul.
Even the startup guide was just the right size - enough info to answer the more pressing questions until you get online.
So I bought the thing to teach myself AARCH64 Assembler, and it looks like it's going to be a lovely little machine to do it.
