I tried to force the connection to 1Gb/s, but it would not connect. Then I tried different ethernet cables, different ports on my switch, reinstalling the drivers directly from broadcom, and tried connecting the dock to different computers; none of which worked.
Is this a known issue with the dock? Did I get a faulty dock? What more can I do to investigate or remediate my issues?
I got 2 docks, as I have 2 Pinebook pros. One dock works fine, the other is very inconsistent with and usually does not provide Ethernet. I think the one is just not made well, but discovered outside the 30 day warranty .
