The outlet on the charger says "PD+QC" and is rated 5Vx3A which I want to use to charge the keyboard case battery, but also lists other voltages and currents. The voltages and currents for QC are different again.
I have read around a bit, PD is OK for the PinePhone keyboard case ( https://xnux.eu/pinephone-keyboard/faq.html#chargers ). The QC appears to be a Qualcomm "standard" that only is activated when it encounters one of their chipsets that has QC activated https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quick_Charge
So am I correct in thinking that although the outlet is labelled "PD+QC" that it will only present the PD supply to the PinePhone? Also that the correct voltage will be set for the PinePhone?
Your assumption is correct, only PD supply to PinePhone and 5V3A will be selected.
