How Do I Perform a Chatty Application Reinstall?

I made a mistake and deleted my Chats (Chatty) application.  Somehow, in the process, I manageed to get the O/S to say that the application is installed but now the icon is missing.  Not sure exactly what I did wrong now.  The Mobian O/S states that the application was last updated on June 26, 2021.  Can someone point me in the right direction on this issue???  Thanks in advance!

...and it looks like the package is actually called `chatty` after all.

Have you tried doing (in terminal):

$ sudo apt install chatty
