Pinephone camera thread

Let's play a little game, share whatever photo you shot using a Pinephone.
I went to town to shoot some photos today.
Tomorrow it's Saturday, so I'll be able to shoot daytime photos tomorrow.

I was supposed to shoot yesterday, but we had some crazy storms upon us, so I had to delay it by 1 day.
I shot only 1 photo today in daylight.
Seems like the camera is actually pretty good during day time.

Took a few tries, Megapixels on Mobian has been really unstable. Today after installing system updates and rebooting, Megapixels showed a squeezed monochrome image and crashed when trying to save it. Tried apt purge megapixels && apt install megapixels, rebooting, and the same thing happened. Rebooted again and now seems to be working for the moment. (That's alpha software for you!)

Anyhow, this was taken near my desk looking at a reel-to-reel tape recorder that I bought back in 1968. It's sitting on top of a dysfunctional VCR that in turn is sitting on top of a fully-operational RCA tube-type ("valves" for Brits) console stereo playing a Bossa Nova record.

The nearest by 7-11 which I visit every day to buy afternoon and evening snacks, and beer during the weekends (and use as a free magazine reading place) has recently upgraded their ATM, which looks bigger, but feels more elegant.

Even if I had the best camera in the world I would take rubbish pictures - the problem in my case is behind the viewfinder!

megapixels takes plenty good enough snaps for me but rather than try post anything thought I would muse that viewing /usr/share/megapixels/postprocess.sh it is clear it is worth having dcraw, imagemagick & exiftool (seems to be perl-image-exiftool-12.16-1 in Arch) packages installed as well.
  • ROCKPro64 v2.1 2GB, 16Gb eMMC for rootfs, SX8200Pro 512GB NVMe for /home, HDMI video & sound, Bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Arch (6.2 kernel, Openbox desktop) for general purpose daily PC.
  • PinePhone Pro Explorer Edition, daily driver, rk2aw & U-boot on SPI, Arch/SXMO & Arch/phosh on eMMC
  • PinePhone BraveHeart now v1.2b 3/32Gb, Tow-boot with Arch/SXMO on eMMC

Hopefully this isn't too self-promote-y, but I made a whole video with photos taken on the PinePhone compared to a full DSLR

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gTI2zkPFGo

I think the results are fairly interesting

When you said video, I thought you meant a video capture using the Pinephone camera.
Actually quite interesting comparisons, but what is the camera/phone you used for the sharper versions?
It's pretty hard for me to understand spoken English, so please understand. (;^ω^)

I used a DSLR for comparison, but I suspect that modern phone cameras are probably better than my DSLR lol
