August/ September Pinebook Pro, PineTab and PinePhone shipping thread

My PineTab is on its way to Germany and will arrive at my doorsteps on Wednesday.
@Germans: Please note that your shipment will be delivered by DHL Express which is *not*
your regular DHL delivery man. Most important: DHL Express accepts cash only (at least from private customers).
I expect to pay about €21 import tax ('Einfuhrumsatzsteuer') plus €12.50 DHL surcharge for customs handling ('Kapitalbereitstellungsprovision').
I'm fine with that, as I don't need to go to the Customs Office, queue up there, present invoices, etc. From my perspective 12.50 Euro surcharge fee are very cheap.

Also received email from DHL! My Pinetab is expected to be delivered Thursday, September 10. I'm in Illinois in USA.

Estimated Delivery: September 10, 2020.

So far, any time I use DHL it comes up to 2 days sooner than the estimated delivery. Here's to hoping they keep that up.

For the germans who ordered a Pinetab w/ keyboard via DHL. I had to pay an addiotional €35,28 in taxes and so on. I could do this beforehand via Paypal or credit card. However you can pay in cash too, if I understoof correctly.

Yeah I had a similar experience it cost me £35 in UK import tax , I received an email at 6am GMT to say my tab had shipped and currently its in the UK at Heathrow airport . Hopefully I receive it today.

I stand corrected.   I had to pay the same amount. I did so via Paypal. I'm very happy about that. DHL Express has always been quite a PITA when you had to pay import taxes and customs, because they insisted on cash and the couriers never had any change money. 

I get even happier: The PineTab will arrive today. That's 24 hours from Hong Kong to Germany. Really awesome.

I also received a DHL Shipping notice Yesterday saying my PBP will be here in 2 days. (3 day shipping from HK to Austria)

After duty tax though I paid a total of 300€ for a 200€ Pinebook.

Its finally here !!!!! The pinetab Arrived at 12:00 GMT unfortunately I wasn't in so I've just unpacked it for a quick check

30 hours from Hong Kong to UK great effort !
