You can just download the latest mrfixit image and dd it to the emmc while booted from sdcard, that will work.

Are there any specific instructions on flashing the eMMC module?  Do you just flash the image using dd or will that cause issues?

I wrote a method to copy a working OS around, allowing repartitioning and adding physical swap partition. It preserves the U-Boot & bootability, in a clumsy way, but it worked for me multiple times.

It does require all command line work and assumes some familiarity with Linux command line tools. So it's not for everyone.

I flashed the latest mrfixit built and used dd to write to the eMMC, but not my PBP will not boot. I suspect I screwed something up along the way and overwrote the bootloader. How can I rebuild from scratch back to a usable machine?
