For the manual change/flash of the emmc..
Just in case..  please update a page or video on proper disassembly  -- re-flash the emmc
and get it back to a known configuration

Sorry for getting off-topic, we currently have plans to put that on the Wiki.  The devs seem justifiably busy in getting the PBP out the door, so I haven't been asking them for more information.

(Now that the PBP will boot off SD.  Put a bootable OS image on an SD card.  Boot from that SD card. Then
 sudo dd if=/path/to/distribution.img of=/dev/emmcDeviceName
should work.)

Thanks for the insight Luke. It has been great fun watching the Pinebook Pro come to life. I would watch a mini documentary on the inspiration, design, and manufacture of the device.  I find the little bumps, twists, and turns fascinating! =)

Also happy to report that I received an email from the team notifying that shipping begins in 2 to 5 days for the first batch. This is one order I will happily track.

That's not the actual shipping notice, but a notice that they should be shipping in 2 to 5 days. So the shipping notice is yet come.....Another sleepless night for me!! :-)
