Still "Ready to ship" on my order. Details attached.

I suppose that support@pine64.com is /dev/null as there was no answer in nearly two weeks.

The Acrylic case arrived around 10 days ago, while the KS team and China team starts deploying 2GB March dispatch. They are currently revisit back to early bird deployment for the add-on modules that already in stock. Frankly speaking, we are overloaded and we are NOT Amazon, we try to dispatch at the most efficiency way and less mistake way that we can come out, the method may pissed some people off and I am sorry.
@tllim: thanks! Now I know why no boards arrived yet Wink

Selected acrylic case as it was marked as not causing delays (countrary to ABS one).

Will wait then.

I think people are more upset because there was no update explaining that some accessories were late to arrive at Pine HQ, causing subsequent delays, and then pledges were locked down without people having the option to remove those items, in order to expedite their shipping.

We are for the large part very supportive of this Pine64 venture, and personally I think you yourself (TL Lim) deserve a medal for all your hard work on this forum, without a doubt.

What kickstarter backers like, almost as much as receiving the item they pledged for, is the feeling like they are 'part of the team', that things are accomplished together, and that, as an aspect of that, they are kept informed of all things, good and bad, during and after the campaign, such as delays. We do not trust the politician who looks suspicious and who seems to hide or disguise his (or her) true nature. In the same way, we want our kickstarter creators to be open, honest and direct with us, even if that means exposing some vulnerabilities and leaving open the possibility for criticism. Because criticism will come no matter what you do. So better to lay all your cards on the table than to hide them away and not show your hand.
Extremely well said.
If I've helped you with something, please leave a rating for my responses.

I agree! The "haters" are way more vocal than the understanding adults that are patient and understand what a Kickstarter is... It hasn't been perfect but no new venture is! You have done a commendable job so far! As long as my board arrives you guys will be aces with me, and I'm confident I will get my gear, when... I'm patient as I've ordered some extras and even understand the production slips, This is BRAND new, its not like when you go to Big Box Retailer and get a product that has been in development for years or more vs. being involved at the prototype stage as these boards as direct descendants of prototypes! Keep up the good work to everyone at Pine!
tllim: how about a wiki page or a forum thread that lists all add-ons and their status? I think that will help to cut down on backer frustrations?

eg:
Item | Status
wifi + BT module | in stock since xx-Dec-2015, shipping
Acrylic case | in stock since 19 Mar 2016, currently deploying for early bird backers
LCD screen | Pending stock arrival

Something like that on a page, short, sweet and clear.
That should help to set backer expectations. And the list won't have to be constantly updated, only when necessary.

Good suggestion, once clear up some immediate tasks on next two days, I will do that.
BTW, the Pine A64+ 1GB March pledge just started shipped out today and will sort out with KS team to clear up early some bird batch dispatch list on the items that already in stock such as acrylic case, power supply, PoE splitter, and etc,

If the A64+ 1gb March pledge is shipping out than should I have received my shipping info for my A64+ 2gb Early Bird pledge? I haven't received anything yet. Sorry to be annoying, there is a bit of communication problems regarding what is getting shipped when.

For A64+ 2GB board only and 2GB board with Wifi/BT module, you should receive the tracking number by now. There are always few cases that we need to handle specially such as address no clear, address with special character that need to be hand writing, and etc.
I m backer of 2GB but I put addons as 2 Pine64+ 1GB and bluetooth This means my order will be shipped next week in 1GB slot?
