Pinebook Ubuntu XFCE screen resolution options

Currently my 11.6" Pinebook only has 1920x1080 screen resolution and I can't connect to another monitor via the hdmi cable. Is there a solution for this? Thanks

I see there is a sunxi-disp-tool fix. Would that work on Ubuntu XFCE? Thanks If you go into the fonts settings and change the "force font DPI" to 120 (from the default 96), it makes everything a lot easier to see and read.

Thanks sddm is the default display manager. Would lightdm or gdm3 give us multiple display options and allow hdmi mirroring on a connected monitor? I installed lightdm and gdm3 but apparently have had no luck in switching to them and don't want to mess up my laptop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |
