Android 7.0 - best way to shutdown without root / button

Hello everyone.
Could you please advice what is the best way to shutdown the board with android 7.0?
The system image provided has no root permission, and I cannot weld any physical button because of the cover.
Is the IR receiver the only solution? Is there any alternative with the bluetooth module and any application?
I'm in Europe and I don't want to wait two weeks to receive the IR.

there is a rooted android 7.1 available. there are a couple apps that offer power off when rooted. other than that you could use wire to bring a hardware switch outside the case.

Analogic bluetooth was not so comfortable, after the update 7.1 everything was fine
