USB keyboard and mouse (connectred to USB 2.0) worked before login/password window, but then mouse and keyboard stopped working.  Tried to connect my mouse and keyboard via an active USB hub with the same result!
They work with stock Android image, but not stable.
May the problem be in the insufficient power supply? - I use 2.5A PSU.

if you have not tried a recent build of linux by ayufan, try one of those.

There are two ways to fix it:  1) dts|dtb , or script , to toggle the mux lines turning the regulators ON,  or 2) mod the board so that the regulators are ON all the time !

The regulators are on the schematic on page 19;    We'll do some testing and see if we can get a software fix;  otherwise, we'll put up a board mod procedure.

HI
I am having problems with the USB 3.0 port and my external self-powered HD, wireless mouse and keyboard. Frequently, at boot, the Rock64 behaves like it forgets it has a mouse and/or hd. These devices work flawlessly with my PI III so I do not understand what's going on with my Rock64. Do you have any idea on how to fix this? I used the stock linux. Thx

Support told me:

After consult internally, it seems that earlier OS build may having issue on controlling the USB power regulator.

Please download PINE64 installer, select"ROCK 64", the select "Community Xenia Mate" OS buildand burn the microSD card. Make sure the microSD card program successfullywithout error, plug into your ROCK64 board and power on.

Here is the PINE64 installer download link: https://github.com/pine64dev/PINE64-Inst...d#download

Things got much better
Regards!
