Android 6.0.1 Image (LCD and HDMI Video Output) Release 20170209 [ver 2.0.1]

http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/Main_Page#Android_6.0

It now has a "Android 6.0.1 Image (LCD and HDMI Video Output) Release 20170209 [ver 2.0.1]" (below the 6.0 ImageWink

I am trying the DD image for 32GB microSD Card.

Resolution looks somehow low to me, even after changing to 1080p, when I connect via VNC it also looks low. Not sure... Will try some more...

Looking forward to other user's experiences with this OS image!

I downloaded and tested this as I have the LCD. I was wondering if there was a way to get the power menu from the android 5.1 LCD build.

For the LCD build, the UI resolution of HDMI output need to mirror match with LCD screen resolution (1024 x 600).

The option to turn off and reboot the tablet. I downloaded the apk from playstore. It works with this build. However, my pine64 does not boot the second time and only gives a black screen with the power led on. Is anyone one else having this issue?

Ha stupid me |-) Because it said 6.0.1 I thought let's download this one, but now I tried the "Android 6.0 Image (HDMI Video Output) Release 20170112 [ver 2.0.1]", which looks better resolution wise. Thanks!

I want to use this version just via HDMI to my TV. The resolution is terrible. Where do we edit to improve this?

First of all thanks for your efforts.
I tried the 6.0.1 image and it fits to SanDisk 16GB.

But unfortunately, I found the next issues:  Confused
- sometimes it can't boot on power on, so have to cycle the power twice, what is not good for many solutions based on it
- it shows issues with two partitions on the sdcard and suggests to format before use, but can't boot after that anymore (what could be the reason?)
- ES File Explorer (guess others too) works quite slow so that system often informs that "it isn't responding"
- Android keyboard (AOSP) can't be enabled for any languages, so there is English only
- Can't connect to local WiFi network  (endless obtaining IP address) though it works just fine under Android 5

seems like microSD card issue.
